Maddie: How long have you known the Defendant, Mr. Wellington?
Nick: Uh, about three years or so.

Maddie: How would you describe your relationship with him?
Nick: We're friends and co-workers.
Maddie: So you know him fairly well?
Nick: Absolutely.

Maddie: How would you describe his personality?
Nick: A bit eccentric, but in a good way. A free spirit. He's always fun to be around.
