Ki: That was when I learned WHERE the job was... hundreds of miles away. No wonder Nick didn't want to tell me...
[[Nick & Ki walking outside of the jail.]]
Ki: After we left Dwayne, we talked for a long time. He didn't want to leave me, or try a long-distance relationship. He said he'd turn it down to stay here with me.
Ki: Don't be stupid, I said. This was a chance of a lifetime. He COULDN'T turn it down. It would be selfish of me to ask him to stay.
Ki: So I'd come with him. I'd find a job near him, and we'd be fine. With GPF gone, there was nothing holding me here. Sounded like the perfect plan...
