Mischief (startled): Oh. You mean...?
The Gamester: Precisely.

The Gamester: The immediate battle has passed. But the war is not yet finished. Now that this universe has been stabilized, we can concentrate on the remaining mysteries.

The Gamester: First is the source of the paradox. The "empress" could never have begun her cycle without help. Our task shall be to find that culprit.
