Nick: What do you mean by Dexter's "invisible phase?"
Sharon: Deep down, Dex is a very shy, insecure person.

Sharon: He never really had many friends, so he isn't very socially adept. He tends to over compensate by smothering people. When that fails, he tends to withdraw from everyone.

Ki: I don't remember this...
Sharon: That's because you didn't date him as long as I did. I saw him do it at his last job.

Sharon: We need to interact with him and draw him out of his shell.
Ki: Personally, I enjoy the level of interactivity with him right now...
