Nicole: I can't believe we just left our toddler daughter in the care of a talking slime mold...

Dwayne: I know this sounds weird, Nicole, but Fred and Persephone are very intelligent and capable. They take some getting used to, but they are usually pretty nice.

Nicole: Well, I've heard of them but never met them, so that makes this even weirder.
Dwayne: I'm sure Sydney is in capable hands... er, um, pseudopods...

Fred: You want me to help you with what?
Persephone: A diaper, Fred. Do I need to draw you a diagram?
