Mercedes: Fredrick Physarum is an employee at this company, is he not?
Dwayne: He is, but he... called in sick this morning.

Mercedes: Look, I know about the slime mold, so there's no need for excuses.
Fred: Fine, I'm here. What do you want?

Mercedes: "Mister" Physarum, I hereby serve you with this summons to appear in civil court to answer for your libelous claims against my client, Trent Terrell.

Mercedes: I could have just let the county clerk deliver it, but I thought this would be more fun.
Fred: I was about to ask if his car broke down too...
