The Judge: Now hold on just a minute. I'm confused. Exactly what is the defendant?
Nicole: A slime mold, Your Honor.
The Judge: A slime mold?
Nicole: We have a scientific expert who will testify to this fact, but his exact classification has yet to be--
The Judge: You mean the plaintiff is suing a mold?
Nicole: A sapient mold, Your Honor. We hold that he be considered legally a person for the purposes of this case.
De La Croix: By the nature of this case, the counsel for the plaintiff concurs.
The Judge: And nobody has a problem with this?
Fred: Trent and I are footing the bill for this, so why should you care? You'll still get paid...
