Ki: (Thinking) If Dex has some sort of plan, then he may need a distraction... (aloud) Er, isn't' there some sort of supervillain code that says you have to tell us your plan before you kill us?

Emperor Nick: You know, there isn't. And I suppose it really wouldn't be fair to kill you without letting you know why you're about to die...

Emperor Nick: But I'm just the sort of mean guy to do just that! Seriously, it's not that hard to figure out. Why would I kidnap your fiance with the knowledge of how to cross dimensions?

[[One of the stormtroopers guarding Dexter levels his weapon toward another stormtrooper as Nick watches]]
Emperor Nick: Really, Ki... I thought you were smarter than this. I'm beginning to wonder what my buddy Nick sees in you... besides that luscious body, of course.
