[[Trish, Patty, and Dexter are with Colonel Barker in a chamber on a Physaric "ship", discussing with him his reference to "Scylla and Charybdis". Colonel Barker is continuing his background tale.]]
Colonel: [narrating off-panel, we see the Colonel's men pulling him away from the alien that had been attached to his hand.] My contact with the creature was severed through the quick actions of my men. What felt like an eternity was in fact mere seconds, but the exchange lasted long enough.

Colonel: [narrating, we see the Colonel holding his head and being assisted by his aide, and we see the alien diving off of the table where its "ship" was being examined.] As I reeled from the exchange and my mind tried to cope with everything I saw, the alien attempted to make its escape. Its size and malleability proved to be formidable assets.

Colonel: [narrating, we see the alien sneaking behind a filing cabinet and getting ready to exit the room.] But even in my overwhelmed state, I knew it could not be allowed to escape and recuperate. I knew now what it was capable of, and its first instinct would be to call in reinforcements.

Colonel: [narrating, we see him approaching the alien with a with a crackling stun gun.] It could not be allowed to make contact with its kind, no matter the cost, and while I made sure THAT one would fail to report its findings, I knew many more would ultimately follow...
