Requirements for Preview: In order to use the Mandelbrot Madness JAVA! 3.1 Preview applet, your browser must:

• Support JAR archives. MMJ! 3.1 uses almost 30 separate class files, and that's a lot to download one at a time. A JAR archive allows all the files to be downloaded at once. If your browser does not support JAR archives, you will probably get an error that the class files could not be found.
• Support Java 1.1. The applet will run under Java 1.0.x, but it will display an error message when the button is clicked, stating that Java 1.1 could not be detected.
