[A more elegant weapon for a more civilized time...]

These light-and-sound Star Wars lightsaber mockups were the hottest selling merchandise on the con floor. They were literally everywhere, and spontaneous slow-motion duels sprang up every time you turned around. (They were in slow-motion because everyone was afraid they would break them.) Their entire stock was sold out by sometime on Saturday.
