[What? You mean this *isn't* the line for David Carradine?]

While I continued to meet and greet in Artists' Alley, my wife stood in this line to get the autograph of the original star of the show: Anne McCaffrey. If I recall correctly, Dragon*Con was originally started as a gathering of fans of Ms. McCaffrey's Pern series of books, and her presence has been a staple for years. My sister is a huge fan of Ms. McCaffrey, so we promised we would get her autographer for her. (Lisa, you owe us now. Big time.)
