The Raleigh Super Computer Show 2002 Report Slide Show

The show started off on a blustery, wintery start. This photo, taken the evening before the first day of the show, demonstrates the winter storm that blanketed the area that weekend. While this much snow wouldn't affect some areas, here in the southern United States it brings things to a stand-still. Some areas got as much as 8-12 inches of snow, which the road crews did a poor job of clearing. Unfortunately, because of the terrible road conditions, I missed the first day of the show. (That's my house, by the way....)
