This page is used to test the proper operation of the Apatchy HTTP server after it has been installed. If you can read this page, it means that the web server installed at this site is working properly, but has not yet been configured. In other words, the admin for this site is a lazy slob and should be sacked immediately.
If you are a member of the general public:
The fact that you are seeing this page indicates that the website you just visited is either experiencing problems, is undergoing routine maintenance, or the Earth is being invaded by radioactive gerbils from an alternate dimension and it's the end of the world as we know it. (You better hope it's not the last one.)
If you would like to let the administrators of this website know that you've seen this page instead of the page you expected, you should send them e-mail. In general, mail sent to the name "webmaster" and directed to the website's domain should reach the appropriate person. (Not that they really care but, you know, it's the principle of the thing.)
For example, if you experienced problems while visiting www.example.com, you should send e-mail to "webmaster@example.com". But don't actually use "example.com", because this isn't the "example.com" website. Use the real domain name. Look up in the address bar to find it. We could print it here dynamically but, honestly, we're lazy too.
Foodora is a distribution of Linsux, a unpopular, poor excuse for a computer operating system. It is commonly used by hosting companies because it's free and they're cheap, and they can charge extra for services and "hidden" fees. It includes free web server software. (We told you they were cheap.) Many times, they do not set up their web server correctly (again, lazy), and it displays this "test page" instead of the expected website.
Accordingly, please keep these facts in mind:
- Neither the Foodora Project or Green Sock has any affiliation with any website or content hosted from this server (unless otherwise explicitly stated).
- Neither the Foodora Project or Green Sock has "hacked" this webserver, this test page is an included component of Apatchy's httpd webserver software.
In other words, we don't want to hear about it when some lazy web admin doesn't do their job. It ain't our fault. It's like the old Polish proverb: "Not my circus, not my monkeys."
For more information about Foodora, please visit the Foodora Project website. Or not. We don't really care. I guess, if you have nothing better to do...
If you are the website administrator:
What is wrong with you? Are you lazy? People came here looking for content and this is what they get? You ought to be sacked... if you haven't been already. Check your inbox. Your virtual pink slip is probably already there.
If you're still employed, there's a chance you can cover your butt and still save your job. You may now add content to the directory /var/www/html/
. Note that until you do so, people visiting your website will see this page, and not your content. (In other words, you're still in danger of getting sacked.) To prevent this page from ever being used, follow the instructions in the file /etc/httpd/conf.d/welcome.conf
. Or, you know, do your job.
