The GPF site will undergo routine, scheduled maintenance this Thursday, June 27th, from 10pm to midnight EDT (2am to 4am UTC on Friday the 28th). A two-hour window has been scheduled for this event, but it will hopefully not take that long. During this maintenance, the site will not be available and will appear offline. Due to the timing, there is a chance that Friday's scheduled comic update may be delayed. We apologize in advance for this inconvenience.

[Comic for Sunday, November 3, 2002]

Today's strip is from Jim Alexander of Algernon's Dilemma. Harkening back to the days of real newspaper serial strips, Algernon's Dilemma is one twisted, bizarre strip well worth the effort of reading its massive archives. Of course, I've never had legions of beautiful, busty women fawning over me just because I'm a cartoonist. Maybe Jim knows something I don't....

What's wrong?!
I don't know -- !! We're all -- DIFFERENT!!

Look! That's not Jeff!!
That guy's so OLD!!!
I don't know !! But, I think someone ELSE is drawing us -- !!
I feel so VIOLATED!
It must be some sort of MISTAKE!!
No -- !! LOOK!!! The official GPF LOGO --!!

I wonder what's happened to Jeff?!?
You don't suppose he's gone off and SOLD the RIGHTS to our likenesses?!
I thought he cared about us!! What kind of cartoonist goes off and lets just ANYBODY take over his strip?

Another ICED TEA please--!!
Certainly, Mr. Darlington!!
These cartoonists are just SO amazing!
Tell me about it!! Say-! Isn't that Clint Hollingsworth over there?!
