Lynn: I know, and that's why I'm so glad I ran into you.
Lynn: Ever since I snubbed you, I've felt terrible and guilty. And the irony of my divorce certainly wasn't lost on me. I passed up a chance to get to know YOU better, the only person I've ever clicked with.
Dexter: You'll forgive me if I'm a little leery of women tonight.
Lynn: I... overheard. I'm sorry. Is it okay if we just share a dessert as friends.
Dexter: Well... we'll share it as fellow miserable people and see if "friends" becomes a more appropriate term...
