[[Nicole Duncan drowsily raises her head from her pillow. Something has awakened her, and she throws on a robe and goes to find out what it was. Still bleary-eyed she finds Dwayne talking on the phone.]]
Wayne: OK, calm down. Slow down and start from the beginning. Who called you? And what did they say?

Dwayne: [Noticing Nicole behind him] No, I understand. Do what you have to do. No, I agree. Take one of them with you, but not both. One has to stay to help Dex with his migration.

[[He covers the mouthpiece and turns to Nicole.]]
Dwayne: It's Ki. There's been an accident. Nick and Trudy are both in a hospital upstate.
[[Nicole covers her mouth in shock.]]
