[[Bound with chains and floating in a watery prison in his own mind, Nega-Nick is conversing with the alien that has "taken" him. The alien is letting Nega-Nick see what is happening in the world outside of his mental prison, in order for him to "advise" on realistic behavior. In that outside world, Ki has entered the room, and and Nega-Nick is seeing her as a sort of "projection."]]
Nega-Nick: Is this occurring now? Are we looking through my eyes?
Alien: Yes, although I will not let you speak or act directly. Not yet.
Ki: I'm glad to see you're more alert.

Alien: [to Ki, impersonating Nega-Nick] Well, getting off the pain meds helped. Now I'm just bored and restful.
Ki: [smiling] You mean restless? The doctor said you can return to work any day now.

Nega-Nick: [glowering, to the Physaric] "Bored and restful?" Tell me you have a better script writer than this.
Alien: I'm new at this "being human" thing. If YOU have a better script, then WRITE it.
