Trish: [as she remembers waving goodbye to the office staff where she used to work] "It all started several years ago. I came back from Europe, said goodbye to my former coworkers, and headed off to a new city in hopes of catching a hot job prospect."

[[Trish remembers a job interview, with three interviewers glaring at her mockingly. One is Mr. Jones of Goodman Rubber, who folds hims arms and scowls angrily.]]
Trish: [narrating] "But when I went into the interview, they all laughed at me and told me to get lost. It was as if they already knew me... and didn't like me already."

[[Trish remembers bumping into a shopping cart being pushed by Nick and Ki.]]
Trish: [narrating] "Then one fateful day I bumped into a couple who changed my life forever. I wish I could say it was for the better..."

[[Trish remembers facing an alternate version of herself - smiling menacingly, holding a gun and getting ready to shoot her.]]
Trish: [narrating] "Because they inadvertently led me to HER... And to the purgatory my life became for the next few years..."
