[[Trish continues her narration of her first day at GPF, continuing from her "introduction" to Dexter. We see Sharon holding Dex's hand as she explains the situation to him.]]
Trish: [narrating] "Sharon hastily stepped in and explained to... Dexter? Apparently he had some bad experiences with the 'other me'. I was immediately embarrassed, wondering what that might mean."

[[Trish remembers Dex towering over her, smiling warily and extending his hand to shake hers.]
Trish: [narrating] "Dexter relaxed somewhat, but I could tell he was uncertain. To his credit, he pushed his unease aside and shook my hand firmly. His smile made his huge face seem warm and friendly."

[[Trish remembers talking to Sharon and Trudy. Trudy's expression is uncertain, while Sharon is smiling warmly.]]
Trish: [narrating] "Sharon continued by saying that some people in the office knew of the other universe while others didn't. Trudy herself was from the other side, while 'their' Trudy stayed behind."

Trish: [narrating] "Trudy's expression was odd when Sharon said that, however, and it was obvious she didn't want Sharon to see it. I could tell I was walking into a bigger story than I saw on the surface."
