Ki: [thinking] "Closed for renovation"... and no mention of this on their website. Well, there went THAT idea...

[[She begins walking down the sidewalk, absorbed in thought.]]
Ki: [thinking] It feels like the world is conspiring against me with this trip. Nick can't go, he's too busy to talk, the museum's closed... Can't ANYTHING go right?

[[She glances around, and sees a building with a huge lighted sign that reads "Discount Shoe Warehouse". Underneath the sign a large banner reads "SALE! SALE! SALE!"]]

[[Ki looks up reverently, her hands clasped in front of her.]]
Ki: [thinking] Thank you...
