[[Trudy and Nega-Nick (masquerading as "our" Nick) are getting ready for their trip to Underwood Insurance. Trudy has entered the car and is buckling her seat belt as Nega-Nick enters the driver's seat.]]
Nega-Nick: Look, I didn't know you felt so uncomfortable about the... um, "link".
Trudy: Really? You're usually more observant.
Trudy: [uncomfortable] It's like some sort of unfiltered mind dump, an uncensored window into each other's head. It's too intimate, and I want you to stop pressuring me to use it.
Nega-Nick: The only reason I HAVE pressured you is that it's been the most effective way so far of reclaiming our lost memories. I don't like it either, but if it works, we should use it.
Trudy: I'm not so SURE it works. Half the time, what I see doesn't make sense, and I see a lot more of that "Negaverse" then I'd expect.
Nega-Nick: [darkly] Well... that trip WAS memorable...
