[[Socrates and drones #3141592 ("Pi") and #6626068 (Planck) narrate the story of their respective species' histories and how they came to be fighting each other. We see two Physarics peering out from inside a tree at two Grey clones that are dressed for exploration.]]
Socrates: [narrating] "Our agents were immediately suspicious of these outsiders, but wisely remained cautious. Their first instinct was to hide and observe. However..."
[[We see several Grey clones exploring a forest. They're passing by a downed log, under which a single Physaric is hiding.]]
#3141592: [narrating] "The alien signal seemed to shift and move as our survey team drew closer. Curious at the prospect of other sapient explorers, they grew determined to locate its source."
[[We see a single Grey clone nearing the hiding place of a single Physaric, a gap between several mounds of dirt.]]
Socrates: "Somehow, these creatures were able to track our movements without seeing them. Our team became separated, and ultimately one of them was cornered, unable to escape."
[[We see that single Grey clone pushing his hands into the Physaric's hiding place.]]
#6626068: "We may never know who did what first, but I've always wondered if circumstances had been different, if the outcome would have changed dramatically..."
