[[Dr. Granger and Grey clone #6022140 ("Avogadro") are seeing their next patient, Trudy. Avogadro is visible at the back of the lab, closely examining a vial.]]
Granger: [consulting her tablet] So how long have you had this insomnia?
Trudy: [sadly] Several years now. Every night I seem plagued with nightmares...

Granger: Well, I'm no psychologist, but maybe we can synthesize a sleep aid so you can rest. Let's check your vitals...
[[She reaches for Trudy's arm to check her pulse.]]

[[The "link" suddenly takes place, flooding Trudy's mind with images, all from Granger's perspective. Among other images we see Sheriff Stone, an unconscious Trudy in her hospital bed, Nega-Nick as Bob Smith the janitor (before shaving his disguise), a smiling Agent #18, Nick's glowing figure as the Greys teleport him from his hospital bed, and Dr. Granger herself as the alien parasite is forcibly removed from her system.]]

[[Trudy jumps back as if shocked, wide-eyed and clutching her arm as far away from Dr. Granger as possible. Dr. Granger, on the other hand, appears not to have noticed a thing, and looks at Trudy in mild surprise.]]
Granger: Is... something wrong?
Trudy: N-nothing... A-absolutely n-nothing...
