Chris: What was really weird was that everything seemed frozen in time, or at least moving really slowly. Even the beam of Sharon's flashlight was sluggish.
Trish: B-but w-we could s-still m-move around. It w-was d-difficult, like s-swimming in a p-pool.
Patty: And we couldn't speak without sounding like a tape on super slow-mo.
Sharon: [To Nick] I think your prior hypothesis was correct, Nick. Everything's trapped in an instant of time there, and we could only move around because we brought our own "time bubbles" with us.
Nick: A logical deduction, but we can't be sure until we run some additional experiments. Unfortunately, that's going to make things difficult when we send somebody back.
