Patty: YOU have a solution to the friction between Trish and me?
Dexter: Yes, and it's high time I put my foot down and did something about it.

Patty: [Suddenly becoming worried] Oh, God... please don't say you're breaking up with--
Dexter: [Grimly] I'm breaking up with Trish.

[[Patty and Dexter stare at each other in silence for a beat. Patty is in shock, while Dex remains grim.]]

Patty: [Cringing] Say what now..?
