[[Sharon and Trudy come into the examination room where Ki rests on the bed. Sharon is grinning from ear to ear.]]
Sharon: [To Ki] Don't take this the wrong way, but... you're HUGE! Did the baby grow suddenly overnight?
Trudy: [Dryly] That would be a narrative convenience...

Ki: I wouldn't say overnight, but he's definitely hit a growth spurt.
Sharon: [Playfully] Did I detect a potentially unintentional but plausibly subtle gender reveal...?

Ki: [Rubbing her belly with a tired, almost sad smile] Wishful thinking, maybe. Mind you, boy or girl, I can't wait for them to get out of there. I've been having a lot of trouble getting around. I may need to go on bed rest.

Sharon: [Concerned] That would be inconvenient. What if there were a major emergency and you couldn't leave the Sick Bay?
Trudy: Watch it, Sharon. We're leaning a bit too heavily on the fourth wall already.
