[[Dexter, Patty, Trish, and Chris arrive at the infirmary to find Ki still lying on the examination table with Sharon holding her hand.]]
Trish: Th-there she is!
Chris: And she doesn't appear to be doing so well...

Ki: [Slowly recognizing the new arrivals] What... what are you four doing here...?
Patty: We know birthing a baby is pretty much a one-woman job, but we were hoping there might be some way we could help.

Sharon: Well, not really, but that's up to Ki. Space is kind of cramped here, and all I'm good for is moral support.
Ki: [Panting] I could... use all the moral... support I can... get.

[[Curious about the conversation, Doctor Melanie Granger enters the room.]]
Granger: Wait, did I just hear someone volunteer to help out?
Dexter: We did, Doctor.
Granger: Good, because there's been a change of plans.
