The Great April Fools Comic Switch!

On April 1, 1999, we here at GPF proudly participated in the Great April Fools Comic Switch! The great and all powerful Steve Troop of the awesome Adventures of Mayberry Melonpool graced us with perhaps the best rendition of the GPF cast yet:

In all, over thirty great online comic strips participated in this fun and hilarious event. Sadly, the index site for the swap has long since passed into the cyberether voids. We hope you've enjoyed this little bit of webcomics history. Maybe, if you're lucky, you'll find other remnants of this event elsewhere on the Web.
