Custom bots were also allowed, so long as they were based on an actual Battle Bot toy chasis. "The Bounty Hunter" won obvious points for style and defeated "Chocobo Jam" in the first round... but unfortunately was eliminated in the second. "Chocobo Jam" (the funky green one) was defeated, but ended up substituting for someone else and surrived as a "proxy" to the second round. It was again defeated, though... but not without pecking several holes in the nice wooden floor. (Not really, but that would have been kewl.)
