Character Description

Very little is known about Justice, supposedly the most powerful extradimensional entity in existence and de facto leader of the all-powerful Interdimensional Council. Although he has yet to make an actual appearance in the strip, he has been mentioned numerous times, usually with either great respect or contempt.

Given that extradimensional entities tend to have names derived from their chief defining attribute, it is highly probable that Justice may serve as some sort of cosmic judge or arbiter, ensuring that everything remains in its proper place. While it is unlikely that he is routinely involved in the minutia of the day-to-day processes of the mortal realms, he and the Council appear to oversee other guardian entities, such as the Gamester and Mischief, who are much closer to the "trenches".

We can glean a few attributes of Justice's personality from each of his isolated mentions. Gamester has implied that he is either omniscient or nearly so and does not need the Council's auditors to find out what other entities are up to. Gamester also implied that he can "handle" Justice in necessary, perhaps hinting that he has the ability to influence Justice's opinions. Justice may have the final say in punishing renegade entities, a task in which lenience is rare. However, he appears to be acutely aware of the importance of mortals to the existence of the Cosmos and has pledged to protect the mortal realms from those who may seek to destroy them.
